The Data Rescue Tracker

The Data Rescue Tracker

We are excited to introduce the Data Rescue Tracker, a collaborative tool built to catalog existing public data rescue efforts so that we can coordinate better across initiatives. At this stage, you can use the tool to help reduce duplication of rescue efforts. The Data Rescue Tracker aims to provide a consolidated overview of who is downloading which dataset from which government websites.

Are you trying to figure out if someone has already rescued a specific dataset? Check out the “Downloads” list to see which datasets have been captured already.

The "Downloads" list

The second list is called “Maintainers.” In this list you can find the ongoing initiatives we know of so far.

Do you know of dataset downloads or maintainers that are missing from the Data Rescue Tracker? You can use the submission form below to let us know. Your submission will be reviewed by trusted data professionals before publication in the Data Rescue Tracker.
